8 o' clock: Syr wins, What about Miami?

Syracuse is actually playing decent basketball again after a nice win over West Virginia on Wednesday night that got a whole night full of basketball action under way. West Virginia's profile is now looking a little more bare. The Mountaineers are 15-7 overall and 4-5 in Big East play. Syracuse is now 18-5 with a 6-4 conference record.

By the way, how about what Miami is doing to Wake Forest? I called that one , but I have to say I didn't really believe Notre Dame would lose AGAIN to Cincinnati. With 11 minutes left the Bearcats lead at home though.

7 o clock update: Syracuse leads WVU

It looks like Syracuse is on its way to ending its three game losing streak tonight, leading West Virginia by eight at the Carrier Dome. Paul Harris already has nine rebounds at the half.

In other games Boston College is murdering Virginia at halftime. LSU-Georgia, Wake Forest-Miami (FL), TCU-Utah, & Notre Dame-Cincinnati are pretty much just underway.

Indiana is leading Iowa in the second half (a game that started at 5:30 CT) in search of its first Big Ten win.
