09 NFL Draft Grades: Rate Your Teams Performance

How did your favorite team do in the 2009 NFL Draft? Tell us! Below each team has its own grading system where fans can critique the team with a letter grade. Did you not like the quarterback you took in round one or the wide receiver in round two? Tell us about it!

The best comments will get posted on another post describing each team’s draft performance from a fan’s perspective very soon! There will be more and more polls as the 3rd-7th round continues at the NFL Draft so stay tuned!

Me and my writers have already created our 2009 NFL Mock Draft. We will update this every month to show what how things have progressed. We played out the season and playoffs to get the draft order. Here's our first one:

1) Falcons: WR, Michael Crabtree
2) Ravens: OT Michael Oher
3) Jets (via trade w/ Eagles): QB Matthew Stafford
4) Raiders: LB James Laurinitus
5) Dolphins: LB Ray Malauga

Top 15 for 2009 NFL Draft

Top 15 for the 2009 NFL Draft

1. LB James Laurinaitis (Ohio State)
  • Can read all the plays and stops the run very well.

2. WR Michael Crabtree (Texas Tech)*
  • One of the most athletic receivers to come out in a while.

3. CB Malcolm Jenkins (Ohio State)
  • Jenkins can be a successful NFL cornerback.

4. RB Chris Wells (Ohio State)
  • Will likely be the top running back available in 2009

5. DE Tyson Jackson (LSU)
  • Big man stuffs the line and makes big plays for LSU.

6. OT Michael Oher (Ole Miss)
  • Oger will be a cornerstone on whichever line takes him.

7. WR Percy Harvin (Florida)*
  • Very very athletic. Harvin can do it all and is super quick.

8. LB Ray Maualuga (USC)
  • Should be a great NFL linebacker for years to come.

9. QB Tim Tebow (Florida)*
  • Can do it all. Many think he can be a franchise QB.

10. S Myron Rolle (Florida State)*
  • Very talented safety from the Seminoles.

11. OT Andre Smith (Alabama)*
  • Smith is a super talented tackle that will help any line.

12. LB Brandon Spikes (Florida)*
  • Spikes has to improve in some areas but is very talented.

13. OG Duke Robinson (Oklahoma)
  • Another great lineman. Robinson should be a high pick.

14. S Nic Harris (Oklahoma)
  • Harris is one of the better defensive backs available in 09.

15. RB P. J. Hill (Wisconsin)
  • Hill is a little slow but his power is what gets him here.
